Eating/Feeding

3 Year Old Not Eating

My daughter will be turning three in three more months.  For the past week, her appetite just isn't there.  I thought she was maybe constipated because she had been complaining off and on about a tummyache.  Then I picked her up from daycare last Friday and she was just (... more on 3 Year Old Not Eating)

Getting Children to Eat Vegetables

As a child, I was the picky eater of our family. My parents often joke that I survived only because of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. In contrast my children are great eaters, in large part thanks for my (... more on Getting Children to Eat Vegetables)

Crying at School

I have 3.75 year old twin girls. They were born 2 months premature, but have zero developmental or physical problems. My concern is as follows: the twins started preschool in October. The (... more on Crying at School)

Potty Training

Starting Potty Training

I've been potty training my son for the past seven days. He has yet to actually pee or poop in the toilet. I keep underpants on him and now for the past 3 days holds everything in until bedtime when I put diapers on. What should I do? Should I continue potty training or keep playing his game? 3 year old having accidents

My son is now just 5 months shy of his 4th birthday. He is for the most part, potty trained. He still has days, well, just about every day, when he has accidents in his pants. Pooping on Potty

My 2 1/2 year old daughter is having issues with pooping in the potty. She has been peeing in the potty since March/April of this year. She has pooped in the potty before and was given a reward. However, for the last 3-4 months she has been holding her poop for a few days and refuses to poop in the (... more on Pooping on Potty)

Moving to a Toddler Bed

In general, we prefer to have our toddlers in a crib. We keep our children in their cribs as long as possible. Sometime between 2 to 3 years old we are forced to move them to a regular bed. The driving force for this move is either the toddler has learned to climb out of their crib or (... more on Moving to a Toddler Bed)

Rough with Little Brother

We have a 3 1/2 year old and 15 month old. The 3 year old is an incredible boy and so thoughtful. But lately, whenever he gets the chance, he is very rough with his little brother (to the point we have to be with them all the time, just in case). Most have told us that it is be (... more on Rough with Little Brother)

Teaching Sharing

Teaching sharing can be difficult. Our second child’s third word was “Mine”. Second children are born into a home where all the toys belong to their older sibling. When your second child crawls and (... more on Teaching Sharing)
