Too Much Baby Food?

Is there a such thing as feeding the baby too much baby food?  She is five months and loves baby food.  I nurse her four times a day and she eats 3 jars of baby food at our 3 meals.  Should I just advance her to stage 2 baby food?

Every child is different. At the Gordon home, we have had five month olds that have loved solids and those who refused it. Your daughter sounds like she is on the more aggressive side of eaters. As long as your breast milk supply remains consistent this intake of solids is fine. It is fine to try the stage 2 foods, but I usually recommend them after 6 months.
